A few words about Robert Vibert, Founder of AVIEN / AVIEWS Robert Vibert is considered one of the dinosaurs of the Anti-Virus world - he's been around it so long that people wonder why he has not fossilized yet. Well, maybe he has and we just did not notice it yet... :) Besides founding AVIEN and AVIEWS, he writes about viruses, anti-virus management and other related security topics when the whim to do so strikes him about the body. He likes to have fun. Robert was the CDO (Chief Donut Officer) of AVIEN/AVIEWS from it's inception in late 2000, until December 31st 2003, before handing over to Andrew Lee, and again from mid-2004 until August 2007, when he passed the poisoned chalice to David Harley, who served as Interim Administrator while the membership reflected on whether they wanted to make major changes to the way AVIEN was run. Indeed, eventually, all cats were herded, and the new AVIEN was formed on April 14th 2008, when Andrew Lee (and AVIEN Founder, and owner of ByteMatrix Limited) took over (again) as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AVIEN, and David Harley took the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), along with a management committee made up of respected AVIEN and AVIEWS members.
